1)Water jel blankets are to be used for all type of burns to lessen the pain and emotional traumaof burn injury.
2)The blanket shall be designed in such a way to provide immediate physical, heat and smokeshield protection from fire (by the inherent ability of absorbing & dissipating heat).
3)The blankets should be prepared in such a way that they stop the burning process and help inminimizing the depth of the burn wound.
4)They should have inherent character to relieve pain by immediately cooling the burn injury.
5)The product should be non- toxic, non-irritant, non- flammable, soothing, bacteriostatic,lidocaine-free & completely water soluble.
6)It should be approved by the statutory authority (to be marketed as medical device).

8)It should be packed properly & supplied with a hang up bag/container. The blankets shouldhave minimum shelf life of 5 years from date of manufacture and the date of supply shall bewithin 6 months from the date of manufacture.
Water-Jel Burn Dressings 4 Inch x 16 Inch Water-Jel Burn Dressings should provide fast, one-step relief for emergency first aid for burninjuries. The dressings should stops burn progression and cool the skin, relieve pain and protectagainst airborne contamination.
It should be non-adherent so it will not stick to burn injuries. The dressings should be soaked in awater-based / water-soluble, bacteriostatic and biodegradable gel and sterilized to ensure acontamination-free atmosphere for emergency treatment of burns.
The Water-Jel Burn Dressings should have a minimum 5-year shelf life from date of manufactureand the date of supply shall be within 6 months from the date of manufacture.
