Role Statement:
Pre sales support for Solution Projects
• To provide sales and technical support to promote Solution projects
• To ensure coordination between involved Ametek Solidstate Controls departments, Sales Engineer,
Suppliers and Customers to manage pre sales as part of Solution projects
Key Duties:
1. Gives support for project qualification and develops design & appropriate solution to customer
2. Supports Sales Team to choose subcontractors for the project
3. Coordinates actions with factory engineering departments for specific technical requests
4. Helps for project cost analysis and plan
5. Provides support to Sales Executives to prepare the product / project proposal
6. Manages relationship between Sales Team and other pre-sales teams in Dubai and Mumbai involved in
the project
7. Ensures compliance to company procedures
Job Requirements
School Background : Degree in Electrical Engineering
Previous working experience : Not necessary. A strong will to work hard and adapt and travel when
required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Basic Knowledge
Language skills: Good knowledge of English language (written and verbal) required

Modern, Efficient Facilities
Solidstate operates from its main office and primary manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio. The facility is situated
on 13 acres with a 56,000 square foot (6000 sq. meters) building. Operations required to design, manufacture, and
service the power systems are performed by more than 200 people located in this facility. Solidstate also has a 10,000
square foot manufacturing facility with 17 employees in Rosario, Argentina that designs and manufactures
uninterruptible power systems, battery chargers, inverters, cathodic protection systems and electroplating rectifiers for
industrial applications.
Included in the capabilities are computer-aided design and drafting (2D and 3D); a leading edge in-house metal shop;
transformer manufacturing, including computer controlled winding machinery and a vacuum impregnation system;
electronic assembly; printed circuit board (PCB) assembly; painting and testing.
