What is HAPCO Deutschland?
HAPCO Deutschland is the German branch of HAPCO (Hygiene Absorbent Producers Committee), which represents the manufacturers of absorbent hygiene products and is a sub group of EDANA, the International Association serving the Nonwovens and Related Industries association. HAPCO Deutschland represents a majority of the production of disposable hygiene products in Germany: baby diapers, Feminine Care, absorbent incontinence care products and wet wipes. HAPCO Deutschland is supported by EDANA and the German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent Association IKW (Industrieverband Körperpflege- und Waschmittel). To be recognised in Germany as the voice of industry (in line with the European industry and in cooperation with national partner associations) on all issues relevant to Absorbent Hygiene Products (AHPs) and to be sought out for our views and the quality of the information we provide. To support individual companies and the industry in our commitment to work to high safety and quality standards and environmental responsibilities. To achieve increased understanding of the benefits of Absorbent Hygiene Products (AHPs) to society and to highlight their contribution to modern lifestyles. To ensure our approach to responsible product stewardship is acknowledged. To coordinate activities and represent interests of the AHP manufacturing industry at pan-European level.

Who should attend?
Any EDANA HAPCO (or Wet Wipes Committee) member with production activity or customers in Germany. Companies are free to nominate network participants, who may be same as HAPCO (resp.WWCo) contact.
